tank console fitment
Can anyone tell me what all years tank console will fit my 89 glide? Need one pretty bad and Ebay has a lot of later models that look the same. Thanks in advance, Robert

If you don't have them yet, factory service manual and parts list are going to be a great help in your quest to rebuild your bike! The console you want is 61270-88, which was used well into the 90s. The design changed slightly around 92 with the introduction of the tubular key, but that version should still fit your tank. There is also a version around 98, with the same main number, so it is possible any one will fit, right up to 07. You will need keys for that later lock, as they don't swap with the early flat key, but they are universal, not bike specific!
