Default Revolution Performance or Axtell?

Breathing new life into the old 1993 80" EVO. Was considering the Rev Perf 100" Monster Big Bore Kit, but after reading a lot of reviews, I am thinking the Axtell 97" kit will be better. Please chime in on this one guys!

It will be interesting to see what our experts say. They sound just too big to me. Evo crankcases are not as strong as TC ones and opening up the cases to take a big bore doesn't seem a good idea.

I've had my 1990 bike from new and fitted a stroker kit after a few years. I then looked at a further increase in performance but decided the risks were greater than I was prepared to take, so replaced the motor with a new bigger one. So my suggestion is to take a look at that as a possibility. I have an S&S V107T, with 101HP/107TQ, which gives a decent increase in performance!

I also lost a inner cam bearing but it finished my case. after reading the forums and asking some questions I ordered an Ultima has a good warranty and the 107cid is a drop in with 115 hp and 120 ft torque. I know i am off topic but the price is good.

hope this helps.

Good info fellas, gonna have to go to the shop and have em check my case and see. If it is one of the bad ones, then I'll just put on a 85" bolt-on kit, do some head work and drop in a good cam to get more performance out of her. This is why I am on this forum, thanks guys!

There is no real way of telling if the engine is from that era it may or may not crack. It has to do with the way the insert was positioned in the casting. After it's cast they all look alike.

3.812 X 4.25= 97" These are great angines if the cases are good, we like to use aftermarket cases for the larger spigot diameters.
