While I had the camera out, I went ahead and took a few other pictures....
One was the Corbin Ez-Fill I found on Ebay for really cheap....long after Corbin discontinued the item. It really is nice not having to remove that cover everytime.
The other was the official Harley engine deflectors 58022-07A. They say they only fit the 2001-2008 models. I could have bought aftermarket versions and really thought hard about it....but I wanted stock. Besides, I like to make something work that someone or a company says it won't. Anyways, I bought them and thought I could probably make them work. I had to drill one extra hole on the left side into the frame and cut a section out of the top so it would resemble a 2001-model. Not really hard to do, but it is nice to have small hands as there is not a whole lot of room to work with. We all know the EVO is much cooler than the Twin Cam....but it is still HOT. They do make the bike somewhat more comfortable in the summer.
Just thought I might show off some of the stuff I did not too long ago.....
It's an evo owner's duty to prove stuff will fit our bikes that H-D say won't fit! Well done. I have engine bar lights and HID headlight amongst some of my retro-fits and a g/f batwing as a forward fit!
I like the idea of the heat deflector. I've never had a bagger twinkie so can't comment on the heat they put out other than hear say but I do know I like the hiway rideing and trymy hardest to avoid city slow moving in the hot summer.
