Default wheel bearings?

took a nice lil ride today while the weather was decent, and noticed when going slowly, on smooth pavement , i have a wobble, almost like a bent rim on a car. now, i know the rim isnt bent, and it didnt do this before, so my question is, does this sound like front wheel bearings going bad? i looked the tire over, and didnt see any cupping or seperation. rear is NEW and installed properly. definately in the frontend.
thanks in advance

What it sound to me is the wheel might be out of balance could be a wheel bearing does it look like grease is coming out of the bearing, But the other idea i can think of is look at the balance on the tire too hope that help ride safe Rodger

Did you check the air pressure in the tires?
Mine got low once and I thought I forgot how to ride.

Check the torque on the axle cap nuts and the axle too. Wheel might be a little loose on the axle. I "think" the axle torque is 50 ft/lbs and the cap nuts are 20 ft/lbs but that's just from memory.

i checked my pressure, spot on. no drips from the bearings. wheel spins true with the front end off the ground. so i took it for another lil ride, out for breakfast, and the wobble is gone......WTF? i even thought maybe i picked up some mud, but there hasnt been any anywhere ive ridden. i dont get it....guess ill ride till it shows up again, eventually there will be no guessing what is the problem, cuz itll be obvious by then.
thanks for the suggestions

I get the same thing with mine, after sitting for awhile your tires can develop flat spots and takes a little time to clear up. If she is going to sit for awhile i will put her on the jack.

ALWAYS repack your bearings when having new tires put on. I even replace my bearings every other tire. I had one go out at 70 mph once. Not a fun experience...... Wobble sounds like tire pressure or fall away on the steering neck bearing.
