If it has one cam, then it is an evolution style motor.
Thats my opinion. I have friends that tell me it may be the same style but its not an EVO..whatever. They also tell me my bike is not a Harley any more, to which I also say, whatever.

Just out of curiosity do you have to look in the rear view mirror to see your friends?

I don't need to beat any of my freinds or be in the front of the pack. My bike is solid with no leaks and will last me as long as I can ride. Not like the new bikes.

Not sure what your question really means..

If your asking if my bike has more power than the answer is yes. Do I ride in the front of a group? No. I prefer to ride alone, and even though it has some good get up and go I usually only use the power for playing in the mountains. most of the time I just putt putt around.

84 wideglide 4 spd here---------------pooor old engine has seen some high rpms for sustained time as well as when the occasional missed gear helps it really get to winging it.Total miles unknown and the top end has been apart a bunch has a wilder cam and roller rockers and what the wrench said was around 10 to 1 .I want a newer street glide just because I do but I plan on keeping the old wide glide just for fun as well as to show the stock 103s that they are toads-----------even a stage one is a toad when I can keep the carb dialed in

BS to that I'll say. I had a 99 FXSTC, last year of the evo, and it was nice and I trhought that I had my last bike and dumped right at $20K in it.

Then I rode a friend's SG and never looked back.
Really wanted to keep the evo, but it would have rarely been ridden, after riding the glide.

Softail, hardly..more like a step above a teeth jarring panhead..
Evo's yeah dependable, but they do not ride nice as the new-er glides and that's a fact..

Here's a pic of my old bike.
Never did like the skinny wheel(21) of the stock softail so I put a 16 imch on it along with a fatboy front fender.

I was alluding to the fact they are jealous that they don't have the kind of power you have.
