I was looking thru my dresser bottom drawer, and came across my 54 Pan. This was in 1970 or thereabouts. I put this together from parts, when I was about 20. I rebuilt the engine in my NY apartment, on the kitchen floor.
I didn't take many pictures back in those days(wish I had) because I wasn't thinking pic's back then. I also found a pic on my 67 Sportster. Guess I need to look in there more often, or at least go thru the stuff in there.
If I remember right it was 12" over, but then again it was in the 70's, and most things were foggy back them. There is a saying "If you remember the 70's, you weren't there"

I know what you mean about taking pictures. There is a bunch of stuff I wish I still had pictures of but I suck at taking pictures.

Hee hee wish I could go back some times.I had a ton of pictures from back then that got destroyed in a flood.Lots of memories left though.
Very cool old Pan. Talk about buckhorns, those are BUCKHORNS. It does look like right out of the 60's or 70's. I bet those short drag pipes really talked.
