Default Cutting up a bagger

I picked up slightly wrecked 89 Electra glide the other day, all the body work is trashed except the tank. I am thinking of converting it to a stripped down looking fl style bike. I,already have the back end stripped down and am,working on a battery mount under the seat, my question is about the front end, will a heritage softail front end mount up to a bagger frame? Any ideas would be helpful, thanks

Not 100% but I think it will. Just make sure the main rod through the trees and frame is the same diameter. If not you can buy a different bearing to compensate. Alot of people did this when putting newer wide forks on older Sportsters.
