I'm trying to find a frame to replace my 01 possibly, just curious what years are identicle to the 2001 FXDWG.
Any help appreciated.
I cant find the info anywhere. I didnt want to call HD.
Im kinda pissed at them for the moment discontinuing the 2001 frame.
Go to http://www.shopronniesharleydavidson.com/ and look at the parts micro fiche and it shows that your frame p/n is 47427-99A. The 02 changed to p/n 47456-02. Looks like your frame is the same for 2000 and 2001. 1999 has the same p/n but without the A on the end.
Hard to tell what the difference between the initial release and revision A was. Could be tiny or major. Almost have to have the two side by side to know.
Ive found the mircofische diagrams are usually pretty accurate with regard to part shape but the frames are so intricate I don't know that a difference would be noticable.
