Default Lifter Blocks

I picked up a set of lifter blocks from J&P from the clearance section. Listed as S&S, see link.
http://www.jpcycles.com/product/432-910
As I opened the package my first thought was that they are a bit rough for a S&S product. Next, I notice no logo on them. Passages will require some grinding to clean them up and powder coating rough.
When I called JP to discuss they look it up and confirm they did not get them from S&S but were a bit hesitant to tell me from where. I explain I'm not about to use them if they can't tell me who the hell made them. She then talks with the tech guy and returns to tell me they were in fact made by S&S for Indian when they were still in production and JP purchased them from Indian.
Anyone familiar with these guys or any other experience with EVO parts made for Indian.
My gut tells me to stick with the old rule that you get what you pay for...and these things were pretty inexpensive.

Any thoughts?

Been seeing them running thru Ebay, S&S made the 88" Indian Evo style engine before the bottle cap engine in 2003 and had the black lifter blocks on them, S&S has been known for quality products and would trust them over some of the items being sold now

I would call S&S to confirm. It seems a little strange to me that they didn't stamp the lifter blocks.

Have someone measure them for proper clearance if that's ok then all should be cool. Many companies manufacture goods fo others with either the end users branding or none at all.

The inside measurement, top, center & bottom will tell you if their in spec or not. Confirm that the oil passage is open because it isnt very big. I use guitar wire.
