Probably the threads were stripped by overtightening it and that's why it came out. Drill the hole out to the next size and re tap the threads. They were a tapered thread origionally (NPT) so it's easy for someone to overtighten it and strip it out. You can tap it and use a standard allen head bolt with a copper sealing washer on it.
Well,it was ok...after putting it up on a lift,it had fallen out.The book says to torque by specs,which I dont remember,but I put a new one in and ignored what the manual said,but used mucho teflon tape and screwed it all the way in....tight.just as our local dealer advised....we,ll see.
