Default stock cv specs

Anyone know the stock length of a cv carb spring and the hole that is sometimes drilled out larger in the slide?

I don't know how long the stock spring is, but the hole should only be about .090, a lot of times aftermarket springs are gold, where the factory one is silver. Chad

Not sure what the stock length is. I do have a spring from a dynojet kit which is silver and the length of it measures 5 inches. I may be mistaken but seams like when i did have the stock spring out it was a good 1 inch longer then the dynojet. Hope this helps

Thanks guys after doing somemore reading I'm finding that a stock spring holds the slide down longer which in turn keeps the needle down, so lighter spring means quicker response but more fuel.

Lighter spring doesn't mean better performance, if the slide comes up too soon you get a "sag" in the torque curve.
