Stock or not?
I have an 04 heritage that I recently added a big sucker air intake to.
The internet convinced me that my stock jets were 42/170. so I head to the indy shop pick up 44/175 and tore the carb apart.
inside I find it has 45/190 jets which the interwebs tells me is the recommended jets for a complete stage 1 upgrade.
if those are not stock sizes im not sure why the previous owner would have changed them with the stock air intake and stock exaust (75% sure of the exaust) and without drilling out the mixture screw plug?
I ended up shimming up the needle and adjusting the mixture screw.
now she runs way better than she ever has.
