Ok I have a intermittent problem with all of my lights going out except for the dash and hazards. I do have the hd r/t/b converter. I've replaced the breaker with a oem one as the aftermarket seemed to be junk. I've checked my grounds, all seem to be tight. The wires going into the breaker are clipped in tight. So now I'm confused as to what to check next. I'm thinking it's either a short before the wire breaks off in different directions or the signal convtor. 99% of my time riding is during the day so I'd rather check the wires with a meter then pull the convtor and do a wait and see approach.
Is their another point besides the breaker that all the lights connect at? Maybe under the dash?
I forgot when I post from my phone it doesn't show my sig saying the bike.
It's a 99 fatboy.
I did have to replace my ing switch last summer cause the tumble broke. I went with a aftermarket unit that was a 1/4 the price harley wanted for it. The only diff was the key no longer says hd on it.
What should I be looking to check on it? I would think its ok cause the bike still rides when it happens
