Default Left Crank seal..
OK, so I"m assembling my basket case with a used engine.. Long story on the original..... Anyhow, I'm sure I know the answer, but figure I'd ask since it looks like tuesday before I can get parts...

The spacer that the seal actualy rides on has a shoulder/flange.. I'm guessing the flange is the bearing side, installed before the seal, correct?? HD and Clymer manuals are horrible and never even refer to it.. Anyone erver found one at auto zone??

Yep shoulder in first,camber points out, seal sits on.
