well i bought the manifold for 35 bucks (direct fit for the evo)
and i find out in two hours if i won the carb
should i put bigger jets in because of the motor build?
so for the intake, carb, and gaskets it costs me $150 shipping and all, i would say not bad, and ideas on an intake setup for the cv?
Well, the CV carburetor needs a support for the front. It just is held in place in the rear by a gasket. So unless you want to use the Harley Air Cleaner, get the carburetor support bracket (29116-83) used on the Keihin carburetor. It will provide the support needed without the big air box of the original.
I do have the original High flow Air Cleaner used on my EVO. It has the base plate, filter, and uses the factory A/C Bell. If you are interested, PM me.
I don't know if a head job will fix the bike but the next time I find something wrong with the white bike, I'll see how the wife responds, havn't used that line yet.
