Default current market value across the country

its probably safe to say that in this economy that at least 1/2 of us would probably be upside down if we sold the scoot, but ive been pickin random cities across the country looking up bikes simlar to mine and seeing them listed anywhere from $3500 to $16000. i know where i live i could probably ask 11k for mine and be offered around 9 for it. so thought id start this up. post a pic of your bike and let the boys around the country (and world for a few of them) throw out an approx current market value on your ride. ill start it out with what research ive done withing about a 5000 mile radius of where im at.

elko nevada-9000-10000
las vegas- 5500-8000
salt lake city- 7000-9000
reno nevada- 6000-8000

That bike is a "bitsa" so here in Oz it's worth about 8k absolute max, if it sells at all that is..

Back in south Arizona clean, stock, mid '90s, softail Evos seem to go for the 6-9max range. A rat bike as low as 4k.
I'm in Sweden now and it is a whole different ball game.
As above, starts at 12k and goes up to 20k in a hurry.
A rat bike for 10k.

i was talking to my dad telling him its hard not to drain my 401k and go out and buy up bikes and sit on them for a few years. stock bikes are bein damn near given away, its only the "customs" holding any value, which is still a big drop fro a couple years ago. the dirt bike shop had an 83 dyna for $2999 with in house financing. i asked them about it and they said yeah the guy took 1200 for it in trade in its just old and not worth anything in this economy so we would probably accept as low as 1800 cash for it. if i had 1800 cash, i woulda grabbed it and parked it for a few years

Depends on the season too. Prices seem to peak in late spring, drop some in summer, and be at their lowest in the fall before winter hits.
