Yeah, they are just regular breakers. "They say" the best ones are from NAPA.

Funny you should ask. I just replaced the 6 breakers on my '86 FXRD last night, five 15amp and one 30 amp. They are standard two pole, auto resetting breakers. I believe the one's I got were Bussman. I cleaned and wire brushed all the contacts and terminals real well. So for less than $30 I have good piece of mind that I won't get stranded by something as simple as a $5 part.

Seems like more and more dealers don't want anything to do with older bikes. I see it as this guys not going to spend anything or get a new bike so he isn't a repeat customer, so poor service.

Yep everytime i go in the place im hit up with "why dont we put you on a new 1". Maybe because i dont want a new 1 or i would have did that in the 1st place? This is for a recall that should have been completed already because i bought the bike used from them 2 years ago. ****blood boiling****

HD should still honor any recall. They will on my '90 model.

The old timers tell me it's pretty much always been that way. After about so many years it's, "trade up or get out".
