Default Adjustable Pushrods - Andrews vs V-Thunder

My winter project is going to be upgrading my cam, pushrods, tappets and blocks in my '95 EVO. So far, I'll be going with the EV27 cam and V-Thunder hydraulic tappets. (Not sure about the blocks yet) So I'm looking for a bit of advice on which chromoly, adjustable pushrod is better for overall performance, durability and quietness.

While I'm at it, any advice on tappet blocks?

I like Rivera taper-lites as they hove a little more clearance up top. Check your stock tappet blocks. If they aren't worn out then re-use them!! Some manufacturers make a +.001 oversize lifter too.

Andrews makes good stuff. I think I have Andrews adjustable pushrods in my bike.

Don't forget to change the inner cam bearing while you're in there.

They are pushing 20K miles right now. I'm not sure how long they are supposed to last. I'm not a hot rod, just an cruiser.

Without a doubt. Torrington bearing on the list.

85,000 miles on my stock lifter blocks. Working fine. This is probably one of the best oiled points in the engine.

Nice. Maybe I won't have to worry about the blocks after all.

Be sure to change your pushrod tube o rings while they're apart. Nothing worst than buttoning it all up to have a leak.

I've had the andrews for quite some time now with no issues. I have read that some manufactures have larger pushrods and they may tend to hit the sides of the tubes. Which ever type you decide on be sure to ask for quick installs and not just adjustables.

Make sure to buy ezinstalll not just adjustable unless you plan on going in through the top. I made this mistake once and just put the EOM one back in...and they never came out of adjustment.
