Default what is the harley 63813-90 oil filter micron rating?

I can't find the harley 63813-90T oil filters anywhere and it seems they have been discontiued and harley makes the 63813-90 filter for the '91-'98 dynas now .I've seen alot of posts saying that its the wrong filter for the evo engine and they say its a twin cam filter but don't say what the 63813-90 micron rating is they just say its too restrictive and not to use it on a evo with no info on the micron rating. So does anyone know what the micron rating is on the harley 63813-90 oil filter?

The 90 part number would hardly make it a TC filter....that would be a XXXXX-99 part number.

If it was made in 1990 it would be right for an Evo....after all, H-D fitted them to new bikes that they themselves manufactured.....I think a lot of people overthink things on internet forums.

Cool

We've been round this subject many times in here! Spanners has nailed it once more.

They're exactly the same spec filter, just sourced from two different places. The "T" suffix means it's an imported part (used to be from Taiwan, which I figured the "T" stands for). Harley discontinued the practice of using the "T" suffix a few years back as so many of their parts and accessories are sourced from overseas these days.

Agree completely with Spanners39 as the KISS principal always works well.
