Default rebuild valvetrain

Newby here , purchased a 1990 FLT ex Police with 70000 miles on the clock.
Runs good but after checking out the site info. am advised to watch out for
nasty things to happen with the valvetrain Re: roller tappets , cam bearings etc. Jugs seem ok , no oil burning etc. will do a comp. test .
Anyone know where i can get prices and info. for top end parts etc.
Im in Ontario Canada.

'90 cam bearing is fine. Unless it been changed (I don't know why one would) it's a Torrington bearing, which is the good one.
I've heard differing opinions on the lifters. I've heard to change at 25K, 30K and 50K. So I don't know. Mine are getting changed this winter.

Ultima/Jireh, I believe they ship to Canada. Perhaps our Canadian contributors can give more accurate help in this area.

On some things I've found it cheaper to go to the stealer. Things are cheaper on the net but then I was getting burned for us postal and canadian post shipping charges

I had a lifter fail at 46,000 miles. Engine was completely stock.
