at 55mph extreme vibs at 60mph and up ok higher rpm the smoother it gets

Is a viberation worse that a vibration? Sorry, couldn't help myself, i spell stuff wrong all the time and my pals give me crap.

I could not believe this at first but once you try it you may be surprised. Try removing your mirrors and take it up to speed and then make mental notes.

check your upper motor mount where it connects to frame under tank

Need a little more info here. A mentioned, year and model. Also, what mods have been done? How long have you owned bike... has it always done this? Lots of things can cause unusual vibration... from lose exhaust mounts to timing.

Check wheel weights if it's your front fork doing the vibrating. Had that happen once.
