NICE! I had a chance to pick up a 96 Heritage, but the guy was stuck at $9500. I love the evos. I was torn when buying the 02 FXDWG, but felt a bit better since it had the carb.
I think part of owning a bike is wrenching on it. All the computers further remove the rider from the bike.

After logging in 2000 miles in just a few weeks on this 98 gem, I can say the best mod was the 4" up / 2" back HD factory riser-pullbacks that I installed without changing ANY cables/brake lines.
Wholly buckwheat - that $135 made a PHENOMENAL change in the feel.
My first big twin was a 95 heritage , then 3 twin cam softails two of which were bought brand new . Now I am back on a 97 heritage . Damn I wish I had stuck with the first evo and had all that money back .
In todays bike market you could have easily found one cheaper...but I doubt you could have found one nicer...nice score
