padlock mount

Default padlock mount
havent really needed one but just in case ive been looking at a couple different types. just wonder how noisy this type would be. you know rattling as o go down the highway.

If it is noisy just put a wrap or two of electrical tape around the stud, that will quite it down.

That's what I do and it definitely keeps the noise down. It chafes thru after a while so I just re-wrap as needed.

Hotrod,

I have a leather pouch type for mine but my last bike had the genuine Harley metal one and it did not rattle at all.

What kind is the one in the picture?

I have the HD one, no rattle. I found it used.

E-bay, 10 bucks. no lock. had to bend it just a little to get the lock to sit snug to eliminate the rattle.
Was hard to find. Typed in Harley motorcyle lock, brought up all kinds of crap I had to sift through.
I also had to mount it horizontal to clear my mustache bar. It actually worked out better, as it's easier to see the key slot.
