Heh....I looked at the open belt drive primaries....but they're way too much money for something that isnt gonna make me go any faster or handle any better

tinkering a bit today. still gotta wrap presents, so times gonna be limited unfortunately.

did the the progressive monotubes installed in the forks, and drilled and tapped the oil filter mount for a temp sender. should be in a damned near perfect spot to get a really accurate temp reading.

more re-assembly tonight...might even be ready to start her up tomorrow if I get my act together (still gotta bleed F&R brakes tho...thats gonna take a little while)

im really digging the sort of wide stance of the bagger bars

and really glad I went with the D&M air cleaner

nacelle is reassembled, cables routed, wiring reconnected...just waiting on an adapter harness (in stock @ local dealer, just gotta go get it) so I can install my new Phase7 passing lamps (did the headlight earlier in the fall)

almost there!

SHE LIVES!!! jeeze she didnt start anywhere NEAR this easy before i started all of this. careful choice of parts, careful assembly, and attention to detail really paid off. sounds AWESOME with the supertrapp 2:1, revs REAL fast. she's gonna be a BEAST once shes tuned.

Congratulations man, I can't believe it fired up that easily for being brought back from the abyss. Sounds throaty, real sweet.
