Got a compu fire in mine. Four years running. Set and forget it. Which ever one you get make sure that the coil ohms matches the ignition or you'll have problems later down the road.

the stock works pretty good, but if you gotta, gotta switch- I had great results from the H14E.

For a mild build that doesn't need a customized ignition curve, the Ultima seems to be workin' well in my '84 FXRT - single fire, selectable curves, and even w/coil it was less than half the price of my Daytona Twin Tec.

Crane Hi 4E on my ride. 3rd year, no troubles.

After-market upgraded ignition modules can be adjusted to provide an even better idle, hotter firing including starting, quicker rapid acceleration, higher RPM limit and faster top end.

You need to replace, or splice in a pigtail to fit the upgraded modules. Modules that mount in the motor have been greatly improved, some older one's including Cranes designed to be mounted in the motor broke down from the heat.
