Lift up slowly on that jug so you don't go too far and have that bottom ring slip out. Are you using new clips?

Doubtful, I'm confused with all of the o rings and little seals that came with the gasket set. Trying to sort them out. Don't want to forget anything.

Since we are on the o ring gasket topic. Wanna play a game? Name that o ring/seal.

Winner gets CAKE!

And while I'm at it, does anyone know if I need to use o rings on the locating lugs sticking out of the top of the jugs? My manual calls for them, but with the cometic gaskets, I'm not sure they're needed.

Do you have the three piece metal cometic head gaskets?

If you have the three piece riveted head gaskets, then no, you don't use the o rings.
