Some good info
I stumbled across this and thought it was a good source of info. Figured I would share it. Some people will find this to be common knowledge but not everyone so it should help. Enjoy

A good article, but very out of date, also not entirely accurate, so I gave up reading it part way through. A current version updated to reflect modern developments would be more interesting. Today's engine designers and tuners have broken through some of the barriers to performance the author mentions, so anyone tuning an Evo today can expect some of our top engine gurus to provide seriously better performance than he suggests we can expect. Current developments in cam design and porting have raised compression ratios, increased power and also broadened torque curves.
