It's not solid at all. It's powdery. It is beautiful on the road that I live on. All the trees lining the road are hanging over the road with the weight of the snow, sort of like a canopy...

It is pretty, freshly fallen snow. Thanks for sharing. I'd love to play in it for a day, just a day, then ride!

This is the long a** walkway to the road I just created...

Other then not being able to ride my bike, I really do love the way it looks when it snows...

Cole would be in hog heaven.
Thanks for posting.

Pictures he says... OK, here we go.

Here's my driveway right after I opened the door. That pile on the right is a car:

Here's the snowblower in snow over its head:

Here's the trailer after a couple of passes with the snowblower:

And here's looking down the driveway to the (unplowed) road:

I've spent almost two hours out there already, and am only about half way done.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We only get snow here once every ten years or so and it is at most 1 1/2" deep (or thin depending on your out look).

So we got two feet of snow yesterday. Contrast that to this pic I took almost exactly a year ago (2/11/12). It was still fairly cold, as you can tell by the people out ice fishing on the lake, but there was no snow on the ground and the roads were clear and dry:
