I am a man of few words but need to voice some. I decided this winter to convert my M&M fuel injection to carb on my 96' Road King after some issues last year. All of my research was done silently on this web site without registering. Well, I registered today to say Thanks. You guys are great. This site had all of the information I needed to do this. Everything went off without a hitch and she runs better now than ever. Ended up with Mikuni 42, Daytona Twin Tech. I just need a few more days of warm weather to finish my carb dial in but you guys were able to get me real close from the get go. She fired up on the first push of the button. Thanks again guys.

Welcome to HDF from the UK. Glad we could help, but there is a health warning - this site can also give you ideas you never thought of and start costing big time! We can help with that as well.....
How do you think it ended up getting swithed to carb? I was on here looking for the solution for my efi issues. I'm sure I've spent more money than just fixing my efi issue but after the first ride with the carb the majority of you didn't lead me down the wrong road with the info you had posted on here. Well worth the money I spent. Thanks for the welcome grbrown. I know I've read most of your posts while doing my research.

As 'a man of few words' you will easily fit into the 'Peace and Quiet with an Evo' group. Joining is free, and we got cake!
Wouldn't mind seeing some pics of your ride if you have some, and maybe the carb conversion too.
Thanks 1997bagger. He gets home from Afghanistan first week of May. The bike will be heading down with us to North Carolina for some riding when he gets home. He made me send updates everytime I worked on it. He knew if I missed an email update and let me know about it!! I've tried to include some pictures in this post but I'm not sure if it will work or not. Hopefully I didn't post a comprimising picture of the old lady. Maybe I should learn how to delete a post.
