batteries
i have a 92 heritage and looking to replace the battery. been running harley battery for alot of years but was looking at batterymart ext 20L or ext16L, but don't know which one will fit and batterymart wasn's much help. anybody running one of these?
When looking for batteries take care of cheaper ones. Harley batteries are good quality AGM types, so when looking at alternative brands take care to ensure you are comparing similar types. The two you mention are both AGM, which is a good starting point!!!!

Also, I was recommended to stay away from Chinese-made batteries. I had experience with two Chiese-made batteries that I purchased from Batteries Plus - one for my Harley and one for my Ducati.
The Ducati battery lasted six months and since been replaced with a Shorai lithium-phosphate type.
The Harley battery last one year and stranded me ~ 225 miles from home. I now have a Harley battery in it that is going on 2+ years with zero problems.

Take a look at this one. Double check that it's the right one for your model. The price seems right., http://www.batterymart.com/c-harley-...1980-1996.html
I got mine through Advanced Auto Parts. I used some online coupon that they had and ended up paying less than $80 for it. Be careful, they will point to the same battery for any Harley, and they're not the same. The one for my buddy's softail was a c-hair too wide for my Dyna. It's an AGM battery, and after the bike sat for a month it kicked right over no problem.
