carb leaking
The plastic bracket is bonded to a knurled brass fitting so they cracks can just be cosmetic but it will go one day. One fix is to remove the plastic and attach the fuel line directly to the brass but it requires a bit of ingenuity.
Thanks Spanners I think I'm going to look into getting a cv , found out today my number 1 son confiscated the spare cv I had for his sporty hes building.
I think I'll look into a Dales Sanders Killer Carb and I guess I'll have to find a bracket for a side enrichner next to petcock. Any idea if the butterfly throttle cables will work on the cv?

Ok carb is ordered and manifold is already on the way, just need the flanges and need to verify whether the stock cables from the butterfly carb will work for the new cv carb?
They should.
My stock throttle cables worked fine when I changed to an S&S E so I see no reason they wouldn't work going from a butterfly to CV.
Thanks Tex, one more thing out of the way. Now I have to find the little bracket for the enrichener that mounts next to fuel shutoff. I was just going to order the one Dale has for his Killer Carb that mounts on the top but I really can't see there being enough clearance.
Ok the nice thing about having 2 evos the same year is easy comparing parts. So it appears the back bracket is differnt but I got one off my buddy so good with that. Now have to find her a a/c chrome cover with the chunk out on top.
The cable for a butterfly has about 2" less exposed cable at the end. If you don't want to buy new cables, you can just trim back some of the housing with a dremel tool. Otherwise you'll need new cables.
