Super clean bike Aces! like the Malboro Man look.
Bet she sound sweet.
I'm using dino oil for the first 2 or 3 oil changes, then going to my usual M1, S&S said breakin with syn was no problem, they recommended it.
I'm mostly using the valvoline vr1 for breakin because it has more zddp(which most breakin oils are loaded with) than others and I dumped it at about one hour run time, then will dump it again at 50 more miles. Cost about half of the M1 to "rinse" the engine.
I believe it's very important to get the breakin contaminents out quickly, at 50 miles, the majority of breakin contaminents should be gone.
I have my AFR gauge temporarily hooked up, been raining for three days, should clear tonight, wanna get broke in and dialed in!
No spark knock, ever. Carb is set a little rich right now just for break in. What I love is I barely bump the starter and its on, effortlessly and never a kick back. So far it's pretty close to perfect.
Yep, Im using Valvoline [dyno] 20/50 for at least the first 1000 mi. On break in, I am changing oil at 60 mi, 200mi, 500 mi. I think syn may be better in hot weather conditions. That said, More importantly is for the oil to be changed before it's to contaminated even if it is synthetic.. 2500 mi oil change will give you a long life engine. Iv ran synthetic a lot but, it's more important to change the oil no matter if dyno or syn.

Thanks for the kudos, Your the first to mention the Marboro man theme, just something a bit diffrent from what you normally see on the street.
Thanks for your oil info.

That is good to hear!!!
I have been thinking about doing mods like yours but most people down here tell me I will just be getting a lot of spark knock.

I'm glad that isn't true!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scouts honor, so far the engine is perfect. I just finished the 60 mi oil change and went out for a quick power check and brother she is quick with the role-on without straining her. She is leaping on 5,000 rpm, and thats with the carb set rich, cant wait to super tune it. The only thing that might be seen as negative is a slight lobing at 5 mph but even that may be tuned out. I kinda like that badazz lil lobe, just a lil bit. Im just running premium pump gas.
