As the title says I have a '96 dyna super glide & last week while on my way to work it just died when I pulled to the side of the fwy all I can smell is burnt electrical , after opening her up I found that the ignition module was fried , it melted black tar gunk out where the wires come from, I have bought a new module & replaced it but I get no spark ,I have checked my coil with an multimeter & it seems the be fine reading 3.7 from the smaller terminals & 11000 from the bigger.
With all that said is there anything else I should check?
I'm very new the Harleys & any help would be greatly appreciated.
