Default clutch question

Do you adjust the clutch when the bike warmed up or cold? Also how do you know when the clutch is slipping at speeds? 98 superglide thanks

I do mine cold. But, I will also adjust the cable a bit after a ride or two to make it the way I like it.. As for slippage, since you have so much more torque being transferred trying to get the bike moving, I'd say it would probably slip down low before at high speed.. Either way, the clutch slipping should be noticed by a lack of speed change with RPM change..
