Thanks to many threads and advice from forum members here I installed an Andrews EV 27 cam in my 98 Road King a few weeks back along with a new cam bearing, lifters and Smith Bros pushrods that I had already planned on installing.
On Friday I had her on the dyno and now that she is dailed in I couldn't be happier with the results:
HP - 69
Torque - 96.86
She is not fast by any means but what a difference that cam made ... I picked up 28 ft lbs of Torque during the Dyno alone!
Nize.. I just finished my major preformance build on my 80" but went with the moderate EV27. I dont know my Hp, Tq but she is quite Zippy and getting awsome gas milage.
Did it on my 98 ultra and its pulls like a freight train on hills WITH TRUE DUALS not 2 into 1 I did advance cam 2 degrees. The mileage(40-44) has been pretty good also with the M+M fuel injection but lean as all hell. That needs to get fixed ASAP. But very happy so far. Have used it in friends bikes before. Sounds very tame till you wick it up
