it is ny first HD and some have called it a RATT. At fist I was a little insulted so i was stupid ad asksed why? I always thought a ratt was a stripped down missmatched paint never washed cool beater bike that always ran no matter what. But i was told ratt Ridden All The Time well yea ever day it sees some riding and gets washed when I want to ride in the rain. Cause if I wash it. it rains.
well got some pics photo bucket sucks today
not the best pics but you get the idea
so if you have any info as to the identity of this bike i would be very interested
Are you sure this bike is a FXLR originally? Someone put a wide glide front end on it not OEM. Also the tank mounted speedo wasn't standard on the FXLR. The speedo, and/or tach were mounted to drop down from the handlebars/risers. Also, wrong gas tank, and non-OEM rear wheel. Can't see the front wheel very well, but on the FXLR it was a 21" w/spokes.
What are the 5th and 6th letters of the VIN? If they aren't "EL," then it isn't a FXLR.
Welcome from a fellow Canuck. I also have the feeling there's been quite a few mods done to take it far from its original but sure looks great.
Where abouts are you in our fine country?

yep all you have said is true and that is why I ran the vin and it is an EL and the front matches the front
Nice looking bike, don't know what film it might have been in though as far as I'm aware the only films that used FXRs were " Harley Davidson and the Marlboro man" and " Stone Cold " I think it was called but neither bike looked like yours.

checked those on the net but will have to watch the film to see if it is in the background somewhere as the bike was not the star more of an extra
