Don't recall how the 95 RK windshield goes on, but on my 93 FLHS it has a few verticle (and angle) adjustments. Look at the pic above, and you can see the two socket head screws that can be loosened and the windshield re-positioned (or removed). You can also get a taller aftermarket shield.

Tried some Heritage bars yesterday, not as tall as what I am looking for.
Thanks for the pic Hackd. My windshield frame is a Memphis Shades (came with the bike) and does not have any adjustment that I can see. The shield itself is 21 inches above the headlight nacelle.

Some great tips above. The ones I'll reiterate are don't sit on your wallet. Buy underwear with out seams over the butt. I find that fullface helmet, riding pants and jacket really help for all day comfort. Having more than one place to put your feet is good. Stay hydrated. Throttle rocker helps if you don't have cruise. Earplugs are a must. (But they must be comfy, too. )
