Yep if he messed it up once he'll do it twice , you can pull the outer primer off & go in & try to tighten to specs the inner

That is my thought. It made it 150 miles before leak. Was planning on taking it to another shop. Just wondered if you thought it could make it to the service miles. Have about 300 to go.

Man the problems you are having are the main reason most of us fix our own.

If at all possible fix it yourself it is a relatively easy fix.

There is a local shop here that I have had to fix their fixes several times.
One time they put so much RTV on a derby cover that I had to take off the outer primary and beat out the derby cover from the inside.

Man it's simple just pull the outer primary, then the engine sprocket and clutch basket at the same time, and finally the inner primary.

If you can work on a OBD then you can easily do this.

If that is a question then no. You should have the splined shaft transmission so it should just pull off in you hand.

Just check it before you take it apart and put it back into the same place.

The guy I bought SCARLETT from had the 20k service done at a dealership.....The primary cover gasket is squished out on the bottom, and it's wet.....I don't care how good a shop is, they don't give a hoot about your ride....I'll do it myself, thank you.......

Ironically we routinely recommend the factory service manual! None better. Avoid all others, they are light on detail and not dependable.
