did their horses receive hail damage? what did the insurance adjuster say?

Congrats on the old iron ride, leaving next Thursday to ride the Sturgis and Wyoming area, group I'm going with doesn't like the conjestion of Sturgis.
2 years ago we got hit by hail at the Sturgis Rally and damaged every panel of a my buddies new trailer and black Ford Lariat, gotta say I havn't never seen anything like that before.

Congrats on your ride, we had a great time too, passed through 14 states and 4,915 miles on the '90 Ultra.
The only problem was the S&S ignition module on the 111 went to cutting up near Sundance,Wy.
Big thanks to Sundance Harley for giving me a lift and rolled up a tool box and letting me have at it at 5pm on a Friday, two guys stayed over till 6:30 while I wrapped it up, can't thank them enough.
We dodged hail storms on three different days, saw the results on some cages at a gas stop, more than just a little damage. Thank God we missed all that.
Three days of picking our way through the Rocky Mts was awesome, got snowed on at the top of Pikes Peak.
The wife and I did 1,020 miles in 17 hours on the first leg up to see kin in Iowa, I-55 has nothing to look at and wanted to burn through that pretty quick.
Wisconsin sure has some nice riding along the Mississippi River also.
