Got the new rotor mounted, primary on, and front end on. Tomorrow I need to adjust the fall away and take the primary back off. I did unfortunately figure out that my top motor mount doesn't fit and that the chain I had is too short. Oh well

Well one step forward and two steps back. I ended up shimming the front motor mount but it wouldn't line up properly. So I took the shim out and realigned everything and wamoooo. No more need for a shim. Any shim as a mater of fact. The trans was perfect too. So I put everything back together and mounted my shocks which are a pain in the *** by the way. Have I said I never owned a softail before. My top motor mount from my rigid doesn't fit so I had to order a new one and a new bdl clutch nut. In the middle of all of this I ran out of locktite. And I measured for a chain which I'll have to order. The final thing I did today was get the oil tank mounted. I also took a nice ride on my dyna with my buddy for cheese steaks. Not as good as philly (from there) but good non the less. Tomorrow I am going to try an adjust the fall away because the forks just fall right to the side now. I have never done this so any advise or recommendation on tools for that weird spikey nut would be appreciated
Well today was productive. I ran into an small problem with the rear brake. My hose end doesn't match the way it mounts on the new caliper. So that's at a stand still. Also I have to rethink my voltage regulator mount because it contacts the oil filter. I might cut off the bolts that are welded to the frame and mount it up higher if my plug end is long enough or drill new holes. We shall see. I am still waiting in some stuff but overall it looks similar to a finished product. Nice and dark. It is going to get a few more goodies that will go on after it comes back from wiring
I am debating on the bars. As you can see right now it has some high *** floorboards which I kinda like but may be switched for pegs. Also I don't know if anyone noticed but these are over forks. Should sit a little higher when I get it on the ground. No lowered bikes here. Raised
