I thought you were talking about joining a club when you mentioned "patch".

I think a new tube and a patch on the inside of the tire would be plenty. YD

These are very good. I would just put a new tube in and sand the nail hole smooth. I have mags. It was top of my list of features when I was looking for a new bike.
