So I did it,took some good advice from this forum and it fixed most of the odd noises that I here while riding.
Any guess' how I accomplished such a feat?
That will work. I'm not a fan of loud pipes, I listen to the noises, it's a guessing game....what's this or that? Is it serious? They usually go away and something else pops up.
Only noise I have now is that spring cover over the ignition key. I put a foam strip under it an it still does it. I don't have a key guess I should spring for a new switch.
I know what your saying about listening to the noises and trying to figure out what they are.
I'm down to only one now, a squeak at 3k rpm. been chasing it for weeks now to no avail. my fear is that it's a bearing in the primary or bottom end. The biggest problem is that it's random.
If Something sticks out soundwise, I'll generally pick it up.
Bike is pretty loud but I think its a combination of Sound and Feel when something is going wrong.
