I prefer the look of the long bar with the bags.

If we all liked the same thing, all of our bikes would be identical, although admittedly, this old evo drew a crowd yesterday despite being filthy and missing the seat and bags.

More pictures will come when the seat fiasco is over.

In other news, I just picked up a new set of tools. I got a 255 piece set of craftsman tools with the tool box at Sears today. It normally is $299 but it was on sale for $179. I don't care for the way the drawers of the toolbox are held in place during transport, but that aside, it's a good mix of commonly needed tools in both standard and metric. I needed a new set because a lot of stuff got lost when I moved into this house almost four years ago.

Here is what I bought:

I know, not the best most inclusive set, but I think it was a decent value. Sears is only 5 miles from my house, so it's very convenient for warranty purposes.

I have craftsman tools that are at least 20 years old. I can't speak for what they make today, but, I've had great luck with my old ones.......

Yep, growing up I remember my dad had craftsman and a lot of Proto tools along with some other stuff.

When Sally gets back from detailing, I have a small rack to install on the sissy bar mount as well as the Memphis Shade windshield, saddlebags, and eventually the seat.

I thought this was a pretty decent buy and ended up being in perfect shape.

Shorter won't stick out and there's less of a chance hitting something going by it. Are you still using the saddlebags that's in your signature picture?
