I thought there was a recent thread on this topic, but I can't find it. Where can I get the paint codes for my bike? The clear coat just below my windscreen is flaking off and when I polish, I get blue on my towel....bummer. I need to have that little strip done. The colors on this bike seem to have only been used this year, 1988, I have never seen it on any others.
For'88 I have vivid black, birch white, candy crimson, candy plum, cobalt blue, brandywine, cobalt blue with silver, Cream with gold, and signal red with cream. these are ppg numbers for cobalt blue that I have, base 34855, top 17015, check these before you paint

I found this list as mentioned above by Prot
Birch White 98063 AV
Bright Candy Cobalt Blue 98603 HB/HM
Bright Candy Plum 98603 HB/HL
Cadet Blue Metallic 98603 HN
Candy Brandywine 98603 FP/HE
Candy Bronze 98603 HI/HH
Candy Crimson 98603 HJ/HE
Champagne Gold 98603 GZ
Creme 98603 EX
Metallic Blue 98603 HG
Silver Metallic 98603 HB
Vivid Black 98603 DH
The best I can tell is the dark blue is Metallic Blue, but nothing matches the light blue. That's ok, I just want to get some of the Metallic Blue repaired. Thanks.
Hey blu, your thread has good timming. I've been considering putting my '86 STC back to stock dress but I have been unable to locate the original color codes & tank graphics. I might have to start a new thread though.

Good luck with that! I wish I could paint the whole thing. It's not bad enough, it looks good, but with the clear coat gone from the ridge just uner the windscreen, it's just a matter of time before it's white! Sucks.
