As for my rear, it is in fact a 3/4", but expect to upgrade the rear next year.. It will all be good as long as they didn't change to 1" till '06. I agree, the rear sensor should be just fine, I'm wondering why they list it as FXST only.. I might just pick one up and see..
Since you are changing both axels why don't you modify your tranny housing and do away with the cable all together?

That is one of my "One of these days " projects.

I have a v rod with the 1" axles an in 08 or so they changed to 25mm. some guys use the 25mm on the front to run a late model wheel, the pinch bolt still holds it since it's only .12" difference.

Actually the difference between 1 inch and 25 millimeter is 0.0157 inches.

Good to know, I can see going .12 smaller, should be doable as long as I go with the axle to match the wheel rather than the lowers..

Good catch, I should have seen that as well.... 15 thousandths is much easier to deal with than 150 thousandths.. Easy to forget that decimal point, I pick on my techs all the time for doing that.. I believe its a product of the digital age..

Hey Tex,

Can ya shed some more light on this please. I would guess that you would need a 1996+ speedo right of the bat... no?
