Brembo rotors on an 06 Ultra???

Brembo rotors on an 06 Ultra???

Can I put the 11.8" rotors on my 06 Ultra that runs a 11.5" rotor?

I know the contact area will be deeper, and I dont think the rotors will rub, but Im just sick of the rotors warping. Im changing the front wheel to a nice laced rim, and while I have it off Id like to change over the brakes to the new better rotors.

Kasey, just do the Brembo calipers too while you're at it and be done with it.

Well I might end up doing that too, but Im just gonna see if these fit. Local HD shop are buddies of mine and had a take off 08 street glide wheel, so I bought the brembo rotors. THey are only like 1/8" or less different and there is like 3/16" or more clearance on my caliper mounts, so if they fit later on I can just put the brembo calipers.

If these rotors don't work the HD shop told methey would take them back and just sell me the OE rotors.

Unless I find the calipers too.

There is a good thread on this somewhere. As far as the front wheel, you'll have to make sure about the axle and whether or not the bearings are ABS or Non ABS bearings.

Was '06 DOT 4 or DOT 5? Brembos have to run DOT 4. Without going to my notes, the only other issue you'll have with the lines is the size of the fittings at the end. I needed to get a custom line for my 'Train to adapt the Brembos to the FXDX master cylinder I used.
