Mounted my motor in the new frame and it's square except the left front mount. It has a gap of three thousands (0.03) (I think that's right it's very very very thin). Is that too much when tightened down. I assume I will probably have to shim that. What do you guys think. Thanks in advance.

Shim it, the last thing you want to do is put any additional stress on the cases. Seems like the frame engine mounts are not level, is it possible the frame is slightly twisted?
if the block pads are painted than when the paint brakes away ( tightening it up )
it might go the other way - frame pads usually are not off on one side only -
we remove all the paint in the area thats painted on the pads, and brush it on after the install saves all the guessing - johnjzjz
