Default Oil Cooler

I am looking for feedback on my oil cooler relocation. It was mounted where the crash bars mount. The bike only had 10K on it but had been sitting for awhile. i trailered it 300 miles and in the process the cooler put a small crease in the front fender. The front was pretty soft so I have replaced the fork springs with Progressives and it is much better. I moved it lower on the frame and in doing so had to invert it and cross the lines. Anyone see a problem with this? My indie says it should work great. I can't get enough reassurance since this is my baby and i wouldn't want to mess it up! Attached are before and after pics. Thanks

Does the cooler fin area have a stone guard? I`d be more concerned about that than the other things you mentioned.

That's not going to hurt anything.

The fins themselves are behind a grate and aren't directly exposed. Would that classify as a stone guard? If not I will have to fabricate something. I don't know the make of the cooler but since the bike is an 85 I'm sure its almost as old. The original owner is a good friend of mine and knowing him I would guess it's a MoCo part.

No problems. I ran one even lower on the down tubes and in 100,000 miles I had no damage.
