And how does one manipulate said screwdriver in such a ridiculously confined space?

Thanks Harold, but I'm talking about fuel mixture screw, not the idle speed screw.

Anyone use the CVP EZ adjust screw? Trying to do it with a screwdriver seems next to impossible, unless I'm missing something.

Slide it up into the slot, support it with left hand in a V for Victory sign and turn it with the right hand....takes patience and practice.

That's just mean...
But yeah, my S&S is the carb Harley should have designed.

What I do with a similar problem - my older sporty has a damned hot crossover pipe right in the way; I just tweak it with the ac off, then give the screw about 1/8th turn either direction and hold the ac on and see where the rpm goes; you should be able to see which direction to go, and then continue like that till you get it. I keep telling myself I probably won't ever have to tweak it again and don't get one of those extended screws, and then cuss the next time I have to tweak it.

I use a Motion Pro Pilot Screw Adj. Tool (08-0119). Easy as falling off a fat girl.
