Trying to swap out the windshield on my 92 EG. Does anyone know if a 97-08 windshield will work? I can't find a 4.5inch shield made for my year (or any other for that matter)

Different bolt pattern.. I'm not sure about the size and shape, but I'm interested too.... As for the size, why not just cut yours down to the size you want?? A fine tooth jigsaw and some masking tape to keep from scratching it is all you really need.. Sand and smooth the edge after its cut, simple as that..
1+ HGM , scobby6611 you should have 4 slots & the 98 models have 3 slots , I couldn't find the right shield for my 94 softail so I cut my own ,Just used the old one for a template , Mine works great now for a few years
The bolt pattern is different..., mine has 5 bolts and the newer one has three. But if the dimensions are the same new bolt holes are much Easier to drill than cutting my own shield. I have found a newer style dark tinted 4.5in shield for around $35 just didn't know if I could make it work
Mine has 5 bolts also, no drilling required. If you go to J&P, enter your model and year it will pull up exact fit shields. They're out there, I know this because I just put one on.

for just $35 I would try to drill my holes to match , just use masking tape where you want to drill the extra holes & don't drill to fast keeps it from cracking

There is a risk of the plastic heating up and grabbing the drill bit, which can really spoil your day! So I use a hand-turned drill, not an electric one for those sorts of jobs.

There is a guy in the Island of Malta GC who sells windshields with graphic designs (eg. stars & stripes. Eagle.)
on to them. He doesnt list them for early EGs and they are quite expensive. The graphics probably originate from the US anyway. ps. I like them.
